Absolutely loved this place! Gorgeous property and you can’t beat being snorkeling in the beautiful waters 10 minutes after waking up in the morning. We ended up allotting a whole day of our trip to relaxing here and swimming/ snorkeling to and from the nearest beach. Like all of those who came before who left reviews, Lisa's Airbnb was simply stellar. The photos accurately depict the rental unit, and the private access down to the ocean was even better than we had expected. We spent hours snorkeling along the rocky cliffs there and found these waters to have better snorkeling than all of the beaches we visited. The only slight surprise was that the were directly connected to another rental unit - a mirror image, which was mostly separated by a privacy fence, but the access/stairway down to the was shared between the two units. Leading up to our Curaçao trip, Lisa sent us a personalized travel guide with loads of recommendations and travel tips, which we found to be very helpful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic find. Robin was incredibly communicative. The space is beautiful, and the view is fantastic. It's an easy drive to Ithaca and country roads are easy for walking/biking. The beds were soft, the kitchen well equipped, refrigerator and pantry are huge, and lots of games to play. Overall, a wonderful experience. We loved Robin's place at the end of the road... Plenty of space for the whole family, fantastic views of the sunset over the lake and privacy that everyone dreams about. Wir hatten einen super schönen Urlaub! Buchungsfragen und Anpassungen wurden von Lisa sehr rasch beantwortet und Joël hat uns sehr flexibel und nett eingeführt und hatte perfekte Tipps für Wanderungen, Restaurants…! Die Unterkunft entspricht exakt der Beschreibung, ist wundervoll ruhig gelegen und perfekt geeignet, um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten im nördlichen Curaçao in kurzer Distanz zu erkunden!Die Unterkunft selbst ist hervorragend, der Ausblick auf und der Zugang zum Meer sensationell. Auch der Pool war perfekt, wurde auch gereinigt, wie auch die Unterkunft bei längerem Aufenthalt, Danke! Weil wir 2 Personen mit chronischen Rückenleiden sind, hätten wir uns Liegestühle draussen oder ein bequemeres Sofa im Wohnzimmer gewünscht, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau ;-) Die Küche war nicht brillant ausgerüstet, hatte aber alles nötige, um selbst zu Kochen. We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s place. The view is sublime from the patio. The access to the sea was super fun and we used it nearly every day to swim and snorkel. The hammock with a view of the Caribbean—I mean, do I need to say more?—with the plunge pool is a great combo. Absolutely loved staying here! Joel and Lisa were so kind and accommodating. The location was ABSOLUTELY perfect. Highly recommend staying on this side of the island as the beaches on this end are unmatched. Joel and Lisa gave us tons of recommendations, we’re always responsive, and have a beautiful Airbnb. A slice of heaven! The view is just stunning and totally brings a feeling of peace. Add to that, morning coffee on the deck, snorkeling down the cliff, a dip in the immersion pool, it was truly hard to leave. We loved the location away from the rush of Willemstad. There is plenty to do with tons of beaches and sites to see in this area of Curacao, however, we just loved being at Sol Patch! Joel and Lisa you have a piece of heaven and we loved it! Joel and Lisa’s place is incredible! The view and stairs down to the water are dreamy, the patio is private and the perfect place to lounge and the house is more spacious than we expected. I always select "Entire Home" as we prefer the privacy. This isnt, it is part of a home. It has its own entrance but there is a connecting door and you are living right next to the owners, you can hear them and they can hear you. If the description had been correct we would never have booked this place, so it does not represent value to us.After years using Airbnb I think this is the first negative review I have ever written but people should describe the place accurately. This place was truly paradise. Lisa and Joel are absolutely lovely people and we enjoyed every minute we got to spend visiting with them. Although we shared property with them, it still felt like we were by ourselves most of the time. The views off of the dock were spectacular. Spending time on the patio was so relaxing and enjoyable. Exactly what we were looking for... an eclectic and down to earth stay in nature with equally lovely hosts. I think my husband was probably attracted to the view but when we looked a little deeper we found this sweet little hideaway nestled on a cliff near the western end of Curaçao. The view off of the cliff just steps away from our room is spectacular with sunset views every evening!Our spacious room was decorated with beautiful pieces our hosts had brought back with them from Indonesia, giving it a warm and exotic feeling. The queen bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a great library. The outdoor galley kitchen had everything we needed from a French press to hot plate and refrigerator. We were invited to use the main outdoor living and dining area with Lisa, Joel and their two very well behaved dogs, Hucky & Milo. With a super friendly dive shop just down the street, we dove almost daily from beaches around Westpunt. We also enjoyed many a great dinner from local restaurants venturing into Willemstad for a couple of evenings out. It’s an easy 35 minute drive into town.We really needed a chill place to decompress and relax. Our laid back hosts Lisa and Joel could not have been more gracious, kind and helpful. We had the space mostly to ourselves and they were available when we needed something. A really natural and comfortable balance.We would definitely stay at Sol Patch again and again and again! Geweldig mooi huis. Erg stijlvol. Ontzettend lieve mensen. Ook een geweldig lieve hond! Wij genoten van het uitzicht op de veranda. We hebben zelfs een keer een dolfijn gezien. Een auto is hier wel handig. In ieder geval voor de boodschappen. Er is geen supermarkt in de buurt. Wij hebben veel in de omgeving gewandeld. Je zit dicht bij een paar mooie stranden. Het huisje ligt tussen Lagun Beach en Jeremy Beach in. Er is geen ontbijt, dit in tegenstelling tot de advertentie. Wel zijn er een paar eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Wij hebben hier erg genoten!
